  • Who creates your designs?
Currently alll our designs are created in-house by our designer (who also works full-time as a lawyer).
  • How do you print your shirt designs?
We use direct-to-garment (DTG) printing where the designs are printed directly onto the garment and absorb the fabric. Our supplier uses high quality printing machinery, such as: Kornit series printers and inks for direct-to-garment apparel, Happy and Tajima enmboridery machines and SubliJET HD ink for mugs. Their DTG inks are eco-friendly, CPSIA-compliant, non-toxic, non-hazardous, and soluble in water. They're free from heavy metals, formaldehyde, and Alkylphenol Ethoxylates (APE).
  • What are you doing to help ensure sustainable environmental practices?
We selected a supplier who also shares our beliefs in sustainable fashion. We only produce and print on items we get an order for, avoiding textile waste from overproduction, which is why our fulfilment and shipping times might be longer than other companies. Our supplier's state-of-the-art printing tech creates almost no wastewaters. Additionally, to reduce carbon emissions from shipping, they have more fulfilment centres in North America, Europe, Japan and Australia. This reduced transit distance will naturally reduce carbon emissions when shipping orders across continents!
  • What kind of packaging do you use?
For clothing & accesories, they are packaged in a see-through polymer bag, and then placed in a polymer mailer. Larger quantities are packaged into boxes. To protect mugs, they are packaged in boxes that keep the mug secure in the center of the box. Multiple mugs are covered in bubble wrap, placed in individual boxes, and then combined all together in one box. We acknowledge this isn't a perfect solution by any means, but we are committed to progress, not perfection. On that note, our supplier is assessing how they can switch over from acrylic tape to paper tape, add recycling instructions to the poly mailer bags and replace plastic packaging.
